Not that I'm suggesting that anyone gets bored at this time.
I was looking through my old drawings and found several that were done when I was an art teacher in schools and it came to exam time.
What does a teacher do for 3 or more hours?A drawing of course.
The first one is from the late sixties or early seventies. The furniture stayed still but the pupils did not.
The next is a mock exam where I raided the music room to make a complex group.
For the next exam I reached for the black sugar paper and some pastels.
After I took early retirement I took to selling shrubs in car boot sales - about 20-25 years ago. Again several hours of sitting around.
Some were quick- perhaps I got some plant sales that day.
Some more developed -
Some were done in charcoal.
And again-
I've never grouped these together before. i am enjoying looking at them.
You need an agent! These are so good. Will you develop them into paintings or pastels?
