Bearing in mind the old collage experiments I found for my last blog, I cut out some shapes from a calendar photo of a swan - gradations of tone across the neck. I stuck them on a landscape then cut the whole into 3 slices.
In some old piles of work I found these experiments blowing Indian ink over gradations made with lino paint and a roller. I used to do these experiments with GCSE kids years ago. I may cut these up to produce new ideas.
And this-
Cutting up photos can reveal hidden shapes. Here I found some in water.
Arranged these shapes on an old lino paint gradation.
Just a short blog today. There are other things to do- like gardening.
