Saturday July 11th. Future and past.

The main thing today is for the subscribers to this blog who also have attended the Art class at Chorleywood on Fridays. Because of the pandemic I am not planning to restart the class in September. Those of you who are members of CCAC may wish to set up a small group there. I do want to stay in touch with you - via this blog, maybe occasional Zoom critique sessions.

Keep doing Art!

I have been looking again through the piles of old drawings etc. Here is yet another done in 1995 at a car boot sale.

I am thinking about how one draws when in a boring place. Here is a charcoal sketch done while sunbathing in my garden in 1996. I think my feet are roughly the same now.

Here is a really old drawing from the early 70's. When I was teaching at Dartford grammar school for boys, it was decided that all staff should help out supervising Saturday inter school sports events. My lot was hours of sitting watching a cricket match. I drew what I could see. You may feel that I was not very interested in the game. Sorry about the state of the drawing.

Here is a rare watercolour done in 1994 while on a school field trip. Location not really chosen by me.

Only old stuff today. I will get creative again soon.
