I wonder if you can identify with either of these.
Anyway, I have been doing more to the swirly painting. I have defined it more by areas of colour but keeping to the narrow range of cerulean blue, ultramarine purple, cadmium red and heavy body white.

I have now started adding a new element to the other painting I started about a month ago-
I have often said that "abstract" work is harder than figurative work. I get uneasy pursuing individualism, it can seem very self-indulgent. Perhaps it is better to look outwards than inwards. What do you think?
